Project Overview

THE TASK

VPS was tasked with integrating its existing child support payment portal into the native mobile app of new partner Deloitte. The experience needed to feel seamless within Deloitte’s app ecosystem, requiring careful coordination between both teams.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a frictionless integration of VPS’s payment UI within Deloitte’s mobile app.
• Refresh the child support portal’s design during integration.
• Use the collaboration to unlock new sales opportunities through Deloitte’s client network.

KEY CHALLENGES

• As VPS’s first collaboration with a major multinational like Deloitte, stakeholder alignment was critical.
• A working proof-of-concept was needed quickly to support ongoing partnership discussions.

SOLUTION

I redesigned the child support portal UI to give it a modern look while aligning it with Deloitte’s brand. Using InVision, I created a clickable prototype to clearly demonstrate how the VPS payment experience would function within Deloitte’s app. The approved design was then coded in HTML/CSS for easy integration with Deloitte’s mobile wrapper.

RESULTS

The updated UI was successfully handed off and integrated into Deloitte’s app framework. Beyond a smoother user experience, the project positioned VPS to expand its child support offering to a broader network of potential state partners—solidifying a valuable new enterprise relationship.
